Vassiliki Vayenou-Brief CV

Vassiliki Vayenou has studied Art History at Queens College and Hunter College in New York and received her M.A from the Courtauld Institute of Art in London. She is currently a PhD candidate at the Polytechnic University of Crete (Department of Architecture) conducting research on the curatorial work of Christos M. Joachimides. She has curated exhibitions in the US, Greece, Germany, Norway and Belgium and has written numerous reviews and articles for artists and exhibition catalogues. She has collaborated with the Bronx Art Space, the Greek State Museum of Contemporary Art, the Byzantine Museum Athens, the Municipal Gallery of the Cyclades, the Kappatos Gallery, and the Deree-The American College of Greece among others. She writes articles and reviews for the online arts magazine She lives in Berlin and Athens.
